about.

These are love messages to and from the people of Kalamazoo.

In Western society, the concept of the relationship is faltering.  The Internet, iPods, cars, big yards, personal pride (not that there's anything wrong with that), instantaneous divorces, hook-ups, Facebook, text messages, cell-phones... we are able to network with much greater ease than ever before.  But are we able to love?

It can be argued that no, we aren't.  Certainly.  But that's no fun, and it's certainly no fun to live like that.  So instead, I--and everybody else involved in this project--ask you to look inside yourself and think of the people you really, truly love.  And just tell them.  If you're afraid, do it here, in an anonymous message.  We'll Photoshop it and give it to the Internet (and to them).  But please, don't be afraid to love.  If you must, tell the person here AND in person.  (Maybe you can just show them instead... and we all know that being SHOWN you are loved is indescribably wonderful.)

There are submission posts every Sunday, meaning one closes and another opens up.  Hopefully message posts will also occur on Sundays.  Comment on the submission post with your message and it will show up on the blog sometime within the foreseeable future.

This project will die if it's not fun, so make it fun!  Believe in it.  <3>
